Cocina Mi Familia: Experience Authentic Latin American Flavors in Sheboygan

The service and food was phenomenal! A super friendly restaurant. The biria tacos were the best my husband ever had. Enchiladas and burritos were super favorable and enormous!

We were driving through Sheboygan and wanted good Mexican food. This place was excellent! The food was very good. My husband had the chicken enchiladas rojas and I had the taco dinner with pork, beef and chicken tacos. All had great flavor. The pork tacos were my favorite. The salsa and chips were fresh and very flavorful. I love when restaurants make sure the restrooms are clean and this one was spotless and very cute. We highly recommend Cocina Mi Familia!!

I was completely not expecting it, but this is legitimately the best Mexican restaurant I’ve ever eaten at. I’ve tried Mexican in many different cities (Boston, Chicago, Cancun, Milwaukee, Madison) and this somehow is the best. The food is phenomenal. The chips are light and crispy. The salsa is fresh and unique and well balanced. The simplicity was beautiful. I got the skirt state plate ($18) and the rice and beans were absolutely amazing. I truly did not think that you could make beans taste this good. The beans were smoky and full of flavor and the rice was fluffy and perfect. The taco itself was very good. It was an actual piece of skirt steak that was well seasoned. Another highlight of the meal was the sauces. The green and red sauces that come in the squeeze bottles are so freaking good. I would have bought a bottle if they sold them. It was like a crème more than a salsa, but they were packed with flavor and perfectly spicy, something very difficult to do. It was bold,spicy, fresh and light. There was nothing wrong with anything and I will update this if I find another Mexican restaurant better than this. I implore you to go here. The pictures do not do the taste justice.

Surprisingly good Mexican food in Sheboygan Wisconsin of all places. I had the Cocina Platter (taco, enchilada and chimichanga) and my wife had Carne Asada. Both were excellent and generous. I also liked the horchata. Be careful about spice, my wife ate a grilled chilli that really heated up he mouth (good thing we had the horchata to cool down).

Our first time there tonight. We wanted tacos and literally googled "Mexican food near me" and found this cute little restaurant. The food was authentic and delicious. Great chips too! Can't wait to go back!

Delicious food, super good chips and salsa. Steak tacos amaze. Margaritas delightful. The outdoor patio space was so cute! Love it, will be back.

Excellent service. Our server was so sweet. Of course, the food was yummy!! Eat all the Mexican things. And the fries were tremendous. Don't order the chicken tenders though.

for starters: we walked in and you could smell the food in the air. we were treated and sat by our server who was so attentive the whole night yet respected our space!! This is some of the best food in town (NOT best mexican food, BEST ALL AROUND)⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
